Ashley Woodcock, C.R.N.P.  is a functional medicine Family Nurse Practitioner, she has a total of 16 years of healthcare experience. Ashley started her career as a nutritionist for the State of Alabama and is now a practicing healthcare provider who uses her knowledge of food science, nutrition, and health promotion to find and fix the problem rather than throwing a bandage over it. Ashley is a breast cancer survivor and has been cancer-free for 9 years. She fully understands how it feels to not be happy with your healthcare options. Her goal in life is to fix this issue by providing patient-driven care.

Ashley grew up in Moulton, Alabama, and is now a Huntsville resident. She started off her educational background with a B.S.N. from Mississippi State University in Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion. She worked as a Nutritionist for 8 years while finishing her nursing degree. Ashley has 5 years of bedside nursing experience on the Respiratory Care Unit at Huntsville Hospital with a sub-specialty in cardiac nursing. She graduated from UAH in 2019 with a M.S.N. in Family Nurse Practitioner. Ashley married her husband, Brandon, in 2018 and they have a nine-year-old daughter, a two-year-old boy, 2 dogs, and a few chickens.
